This morning at 9:36 AM at the University of Washington Zlatan Ibrahimovic took part in his first training session as a member of FC Barcelona. Ibrahimovic has been sidelined since signing with the blaugrana on July 27th. His training session was kept somewhat light however as to not risk infection near the stitches were his hand had to be surgically repaired. Ibrahimovic had the cast he had been wearing removed prior to leaving Los Angeles and his now sporting a splint.
Andrés Iniesta took in a light training also this morning still recovering from a virus that has resulted in midfielder loosing weight. Toure Yaya was absent from practice as he is recovering from a bruised back suffered in the match against the LA Galaxy. Toure will be reevaluated tomorrow.
