The story of three close friends who are involved in a love-triangle.
This film derives its charm from the irony that plays out in the last minute, and there lies the reason it comes together. I would not dare reveal why, it's just, if you take in and appreciate the Nouvelle Vague references and influence, it will make total sense; also if you think, as it occurred to me, that the two friends' erotic object bears a certain resemblance to a recent protagonist in what is considered a reboot of Nouvelle Vague in french cinema. Enough said.
It is an accurate, even if sarcastic, homage to french cinema, and the way its morals are at odds with contemporary poseurs. This was a delight!
